INGREDIENTS:
5 to 6 chicken tights or legs or 1 whole or cut up chicken
1 can any kind of beer
1/2 tsp grated fresh garlic
1 tbs paprika
1 1/2 tsp black pepper
1 tsp salt
1 tsp chilly flakes
any other spices you'd like
DIRECTIONS:
Start by marinating the chicken legs in a mixture of spices above. Allow to marinate for 3 hours
Fry the chicken legs until golden on both sides
Pour in the can of beer, and allow to cook through lowering at the same time the heat.
Serve it on a bed of rice, mushed potatoes or any side dish you fancy
Tips:
1. This recipe will work with other chicken cuts too! Use either chicken breast or chicken thighs.
2. You can also make beer chicken in the oven. Once browned, transfer the chicken pieces (with the marinade) to an oven-safe baking dish.
3. Bake for 35 minutes at 170C
