Use a cookie/ice cream scoop to make consistently even-shaped cookies.
INGREDIENTS:
1 cup unsalted butter softened
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup light brown or dark brown sugar
2 tsp vanilla extract
2 large eggs
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
½ tsp BP
1 tsp salt
1 cup dark chocolate chunks
1/2 cup milk chocolate chunks
1 cup white chocolate chunks
INSTRUCTIONS:
Preheat oven to 180 C degrees.
Line two baking trays with cooking paper
In a separate bowl mix flour, baking soda, salt, baking powder
Mix together butter and sugars until combined
Beat in eggs and vanilla until fluffy
Mix in the dry ingredients until combined
Add the chocolate chunks and mix well
Chill the dough for half an hour
Roll 2-3 tbs of dough into balls and place them evenly spaced on your prepared cookie sheets
Bake in preheated oven for approximately 8-10 minutes
Let them sit on the baking tray for 2-3 minutes before transferring to cooling rack
Tips:
1. Underbaked cookies are the secret to softness
2. Using brown sugar results in a chewy cookie
3. Chilling the dough results in a thicker cookie
